Manor House

This lovely grade II* 16th century moated Manor house has been sensitively restored inside and out, which was really achieved by a successful collaboration with the energetic Owners.

The other aim was to create an intimate environment that worked as a welcoming family home, within this important building.

On the West façade the original large stone mullioned windows were carefully repaired and on the South face where they had been removed, they were reinstated in accordance with evidence.

To replace the original stair lost in the distant past, a new grand oak staircase now winds its way up from ground to second floor.

Adjacent to the house was a 1950’s garage which we replaced with a new multipurpose space which opens out into the garden. This room links to the Manor house by a small extension which was built off the existing garden wall which has a pretty brick arched opening.
