Project architect/architectural technologist
Fixed term 6 month contract
£35 to 40k pa pro-rata

We are passionate about historic and listed buildings and our practice is dedicated to their restoration, conservation and adaptation to ensure their relevance to their present purpose whilst maintaining their historic integrity.
Our projects include works to small and large private houses, barn and mill conversions, museums, churches and public buildings for residential owner/occupiers, companies, agricultural estates, charitable trusts and religious organisations mainly within East Anglia.
The role is to run projects from inception to completion and will include liaising with clients, producing imaginative designs and construction information, negotiating with public authorities and contractors, letting and administration of contracts and bringing projects to a successful conclusion.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a broad range of experience in works to listed buildings gained over a period of five years or more within a conservation practice and will be fluent in AutoCad. Proficiency in the preparation and production of working drawings and specifications and contract administration is essential. He/she will be a Chartered Architect or a Chartered Architectural Technologist and candidates with additional conservation qualifications will be preferred.
The post is for a fixed term of 6 months but could possibly be extended or made permanent.
